is a researcher of liminal spaces.
They are a performance artist born and raised in Lenapehoking, New York City, now living in Athens, Greece.

Athena’s practice work revolves around the myth of state/state of myth, and technologies of embodied listening. They are a founding member of Torment The Great Anything Collective, a group sharing tools for collective narrative emergence.

Their pieces and performances have appeared in Rabbithole Theater, Icebox Project Space, Flux Laboratory Athens, IndieFest, Allied Media Conference, Deep Play Institute, Explosions from the Other Cannon, the Oaxaca Film Festival, Leeds Theater, Quadrennial Leap Year Festival, Gala Magazine, MoMA (via participation in Movement Research’s MELT workshop showcase), The Indy Newspaper, Granoff Center for the Arts, Okay Project Space, Mandrogas Performance Journal, the edges of the ocean, and elsewhere.

Athena graduated from the Theater and Performance Studies department at Brown University with the direction of I Want A Country, a play with no characters.
They studied documentary theater and ancient tragic embodiment with Attis Theater and DAH Teatar, Ecopoetics at Naropa University, and previously worked and trained in flying trapeze at Trapeze School New York and Circus Warehouse, and completed the Erotics of Liberation: Liberation Practice Field somatics program in 2025.
